4. How did President Monroe’s presidency have long lasting effects on the US?
5. Congrats! You’ve decided to run for president in the year 1824. What political party do you represent? What is your platform? What do you have to say about your opponents in the race?
6. How do Daniel Webster, Henry Clay and John C Calhoun represent different parts of the United States in the Jacksonian Era?
7. Explain how the Industrial Revolution affects the North and South (both similarities and differences).
8. How does the Industrial Revolution compare to the Internet Revolution?
9. You wake up tomorrow morning and somehow you’ve time traveled to 1850 thanks to a magical squirrel named Seymour. Seymour congratulates you on your time traveling and says you have a choice to make before he leaves you forever in your new time period… where in the United States would you want to live and “work”? Explain.
10. Draw a map of the United States in 1850 with a theme that you determine. Be creative!
